US Professional Shows

Between March 2000 and January 2003, K9flyers team members were competing in US Canine Frisbee^® competitions. On occasions the team helped out a US-based professional Frisbee Dog team, WOOF! Sports USA. Consequently, K9flyers team members have had the opportunity to perform at several exciting events including:

• The 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Torch Relay, performing at the first night celebrations of the Salt Lake City Olympic Torch Relay in the USA, in the city of Greenville, South Carolina (December 2001).
• The Peach Bowl FanFest at the Georgia World Congress Center (January 2002)
• Disney-ABC promotions for a television movie titled A Walk in the Park (May 2002)

With the return home of the K9flyers Australians now have their first opportunity to see World-class Frisbee dogs in action.

US Competitions

K9flyers have an outstanding resume of competition successes, including the following placings and four overall championship wins (equivalent of Best in Show) highlighted in red:

• Overall Champion at the 2001 Shamrock Showdown in Philadelphia PA - Krazy Kristal and Damian
• 1st in the Open Division of the 2001 Dixie Disc Dog Championships in Macon GA - Krazy Kristal and Damian
• 1st in the Novice Division of the 2001 US Disc Dog Southern Nationals in Atlanta GA - Topaz and Karen
• 6th in the Super-Open Division of the 2001 US Disc Dog Southern Nationals in Atlanta GA - Krazy Kristal and Damian
